One morning I discovered myself with a sparkling and vivid idea about college management immediately I rang up my colleague Ahamed (CMO, iTMarkerZ Technologies) enlightened him about my brand new concept – “Attendance Management System for Students”. He listened to me patiently and appreciated my new idea of Collage Attendance Management. His notion was to convert this idea into a sound and flexible project with more powerful features else our project will just be a resemblance of a mere Attendance Management System available at the market. “We should develop something that comprises of class and innovation” says Ahamed (CMO, iTMarkerZ Technologies). From that moment I pondered and pondered hard about the exquisite features that I will have to add to make Attendance Management System for Students a durable project. For this purpose I started to carefully observe the regular students’ activities going on in my College and the nature of my friends in College. I vigilantly examined how my friends responded to different situations and conditions in College. The main factor I perceived was Class Bunking. Class bunking at its best! Students bunked classes for a whole day or for some particular hours. For instance a student present for the first two hours in a day will be at hostel for the remaining two hours and so on. It was then I contemplated about developing a system which will inform the parents how much hours their children were present in the class of each day. Initially I thought of web based application development for this project but Ahamed (CMO, iTMarkerZ Technologies), again cited an inconvenience for parents as many of the parents may be unaware of using internet. But Ahamed (CMO, iTMarkerZ Technologies) and Joel Joseph (COO, iTMarkerZ Technologies) again stroked with a new suggestion of using SMS Technology and that viewpoint relieved my nerves and thus we integrated both SMS & Web Interface in CollSMS. Currently my concern is of adding an IVR to CollSMS so that all the parents can access the details of their children.
